Do you you remember all the comedians wearing custom Nikes at the 'Netflix Is A Joke' Festival? Do you remember Justin Herbert and Joey Bosa's custom cleats? Did you see the custom Wild N Out Jordans Nick Cannon was wearing? Those were all done by Blake Barash and the team at B Street Shoes.
We wanted to dedicate this blog post to what we feel are the best custom Nikes on the Internet. All the shoes are hand painted with a really interesting process that can be seen on their YouTube.
The process the team goes though usually starts with talking with the client and rendering the artwork digitally onto the base shoe. The artwork is usually applied to the shoes though a combination of hand painting and airbrushing to achieve the final result.
Below we have included some of our favorite custom painted Nikes. Enjoy!
These custom wedding Nikes were made specially for Ryan Bergara and Marielle Scott. This wedding was featured in Brides magazine. Checkout the feature to see all the details.
These pictures are pretty amazing when you know what you're looking at. The base shoe shown here are the Jordan Retro 1 Yin Yang. All priced on StockX and GOAT for around $1,000. If you can find them. The B Street Shoes x Corona Collaboration was celebrated by many in the sneaker industry.
It's October and we're obsessed with spooky stuff here at BLVD. Ghost Busters is a classic so when we saw these custom Ghost Busters Nike AF1s, we were obsessed. The caution tape on the midsole, the slime drip from the Nike Swoosh and the Proton Pack Ghostbuster gun take these shoes to the next level.
These Dropout Bear Nike AF1s are too dope not to feature! The color gradients are clearly done with an airbrush while the Kanye West College Dropout Album Cover was paintstakenly done with a small detail paint brush. We love the look and had to include these in our article!
If you're interested in talking with the team over at B Street about a custom project, you can reach them HERE.
