Morbius is a character that has been floating around the Marvel universe for decades. After his first appearance in The Amazing Spider-Man (1971), he seemed to fade into the multiverse abyss. However, as of today Morbius is back on center stage. In the film, Jared Leto plays the award winning biochemist Dr. Michael Morbius. He and his brother Milo, both become vampires in an effort to cure their terminal diseases.
